Classic SnowflakeMaterials Needed (for 1 snowflake):
- Cut snowflake ring in one spot with scissors. Thread all the lace onto cabone ring (If lace has pointed raw edge, trim off points.). Hint: Keep lace bunched up to prevent slipping off. Glue ring together. Space lace evenly around ring. Glue cut edges of lace together to form seam. Create hanger using ribbon or cord cut to length desired, glue to back of snowflake. If desired, decorate center of snowflake with acrylic jewel, small mirrored disk, etc.
Keepsake SnowflakeMaterials Needed (for 1 snowflake):
- Cut snowflake ring in one spot with scissors. Gather entire length of lace onto cabone ring. Guide ring through openings along straight edge of lace. (Allow 1/2" between holes to make threading easier.) Glue ring together. Arrange lace evenly around ring and glue cut edges of lace together. Cut 9" cord and knot raw ends together to create hanger. Glue to back of snowflake. Stiffen finished snowflake with stiffening agent and sprinkle with iridescent glitter while damp. Allow to dry. Decorate center with gems for added glamour.
