Instructions
Sew two white Recs to each red Tri to make a Tri unit. Make two Tri units.
Sew one white Easy Angle to one red Easy Angle to make an Easy Angle unit. Make 2 Easy Angle units.
Assemble block as shown to make 1 heart block. Press center seam open.
Sew 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip to each side of heart block.
Sew 1 1/2" x 10 1/2" strip to top and bottom of block.
Quilt Bag
Sew red print rectangle to bottom of heart block. Layer with batting and bag lining (batting and lining are slightly larger than block unit - do not trim at this time). Baste with safety pins and quilt as desired.
When quilting is complete, trim all layers evenly.
With right sides together and 3/8" seam allowance, stitch side seams. Turn bag right side out.
Casing
Stitch short ends of casing together using 3/8" seam allowance, leaving a 1 1/2" opening at the center of the seam for ribbon to pass through. Press seam open. Fold casing in half, wrong sides together, turning bottom edge of casing up 1/4". Press.
Stitch unpressed edge to top of bag, right sides together. Slipstitch pressed edge to inside of bag encasing raw edge of seam.
Finishing
Turn bag inside out. Thread 5/8" ribbon through drawstring, knot end. Embellish as desired.
