Sew two triangle squares together to form star points. Sew twenty-four sets each of the 2" and the 3 1/2" size.
Sew a square to either side of a star point set to make a star point unit. Make twelve of each size.
Sew remaining small star point sets to either side of a 3 1/2" square. Make six.
Sew small star point units to top and bottom to create the six small stars.
Sew two large star points to each side of the small star block.
Sew the remaining large star point units to the top and bottom of the block to complete the quilt block.
