This video shows how to choose your ideal pattern size using the body measurements and the finished garment measurements on the pattern envelope. Before you begin, review the new size charts, and then take your body measurements. Write them down so you have them handy for reference. You can start by reviewing your measurements against the body measurements for a particular pattern. You will also need to review the finished garment size. The finished garment size considers the design and the wearing ease. You might initially select one size based on your measurements but end up selecting a different size because you prefer more or less wearing ease.
