Button front blouse has buttoned cuff two-part sleeves with gathered back to front ties. The pattern includes an optional neck bow. The skirt has decorative button details in front and fullness in the gathered back with snap and hook and bar closures. The 1890s styles were simple and practical. Women had more freedom in their clothing choices and often sported reform clothing such as this.
FABRICS: A, B: Cotton/Cotton Blends. Contrast A: Satin, Sateen. C: Silk/Silk Dupioni. Underlining C: Stiff Cotton Canvas. Interfacing: Sew-In. Unsuitable for obvious diagonals.
