How-To
Finish Seam Allowances
Duration4:36
"Learn how to finish seam allowances without using a serger or overlocker. First, add a stitch ¼ inch from the raw edge. One option is to use a zig-zag stitch or overcast stitch close to or along that second stitch. Finish by trimming the excess fabric. A second option is to fold over the edge of the fabric and stitch close to the edge. A great option for beginners is to use pinking shears to trim the excess fabric."
