Tips to Remember
- For sewing a catchstitch, work left to right.
- With the needle pointing to the left, take a tiny stitch in the garment.
- Take the next stitch ¼" (6mm) away to the right close to the edge of the hem or facing so the stitches form an X. Continue, altering from garment to hem or facing, keeping stitches fairly loose.
